Smith Hill Productions generally works with a three-person team: Janet Boynton serves as director and interviewer; and a professional cameraman and a sound engineer provide the technical support. We use only high quality professional video cameras and can shoot in 4:3, 16:9 Standard Digital (SD) or High Definition (HD) to suit our client's requirements. Still photographs are shot using a Nikon D-300.

Programs are edited on an Apple MAC Pro with ten terabytes storage capacity using the latest Media 100 HDe Version 2.0.2 non-linear editing software.

Formats

We can provide the finished product in either HD or SD format on DVD disks.  We supply web movies in any format using the Sorenson Squeeze codec for streaming over the web.
