Client: Minute Man National Historical Park
Length: 12 minutes
Like many National Parks in this country Minute Man Historical Park in Concord, Massachusetts is feeling the environmental impact of commercial development and increased traffic on its borders. The Park needed the support of both Federal and State agencies as well as local stakeholders to protect and preserve the Battle Road where the American Revolution began. We developed a script with the Park's Superintendent, Nancy Nelson, that would tell their story.
Footage of battle reenactments provided a backdrop for contrasting scenes of the encroaching development and Park visitors enjoying living history demonstrations. A voice-over narration, interviews and a stirring original musical score combined to raise viewer's awareness of the significance of the Park and the need for its protection. |
