Programs for Socially Responsible Companies

Public reaction to the misdeeds of AIG and other large corporations has sensitized the public in regard to business ethics. In today’s marketplace, for-profit organizations need to reassure their clients as well as their staff of their commitment to the well-being of their customers, their employees, their communities and the environment. If this is done skillfully, they will enhance their sales as well as their image.

Smith Hill videos use authentic interviews with staff and clients to tell the corporate story in a manner which is believable and effective. With these videos, a company can update their website with fresh, interesting web movies about new services or products, recruit staff or educate their clients about changes in their industry. Some companies also use video presentation for training or motivating employees at meetings or annual events.

Several video programs that we recently produced for RE/MAX of New England were shown at their annual awards ceremony and have been put up on their website. One (included here) documented the history of the regional network, and described the organization’s growth by including first person stories from long-term brokers. Another program related stories of brokers and agents who had demonstrated citizenship in their communities with acts of public service and support for both local and national charities. Both of these programs served to boost the morale of sales brokers at a time when our economic conditions are extremely challenging.
